He does not tempt people because he loves them. He tempts them because he desires their total destruction.

YAHabah — Love of YAH — tree of life

YAHabah — Love of YAH — tree of life

This statement reflects an urgent truth: Satan is not your friend. He does not tempt people because he loves them — he tempts them because he desires their total destruction.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Yohanan 10:10

The devil whispers that sin is harmless, enjoyable, and without consequence. That is the exact same lie he told Eve in the garden. Sin always promises pleasure, yet it pays out in bondage, guilt, sorrow, and ultimately eternal death. It blinds you to the reality of eternity while dragging you closer to the pit every single day.

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

James 1:14–15

Satan's ultimate goal is to keep people spiritually blinded to the truth, comfortable in rebellion, and completely unprepared to stand before YAHUAH. He rejoices when people reject Yahusha Hamashiach, because he knows that without repentance they remain under total condemnation.

But there is hope

Yahusha Hamashiach did not leave us helpless in our rebellion. He came to destroy the works of the devil, break every chain of sin, and save lost souls from destruction.

For this purpose the Son of YAHUAH was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 Yohanan 3:8

No matter how deep you have fallen into sin, the mercy of Yahusha Hamashiach is far greater than your past mistakes. The blood shed on the stake is powerful enough to wash away every transgression and grant you a clean heart. If you turn away from sin today and put your full trust in Him, He will forgive you, transform your life through Ruach HaKodesh, and give you eternal life.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.

Acts 3:19

Stop listening to the subtle lies of the enemy that tell you that you have time. Listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd calling you back to righteousness today. Do not trade your eternal soul for a temporary moment of pleasure. Tomorrow is promised to no one. So be it in Yahusha's name.
